The new road bed looking east toward Berkeley.
Inside the bridge deck. The "roof" is the road bed.
Stairs on the left, rattletrap elevator on the right. The elevator does not go all the way to the very top.
The view of San Franciso from the scaffold stairs.
The iron worker is standing in the top of one of the 4 tower sections. The red steel structure around all 4 sections supports the crane, construction elevator, and enables exterior work on the tower and cables.
From the top looking back toward the East Bay.
The view from the very top. Unfortunately, it was a hazy day.
Just a few of the bolts that hold the tower sections together.
Inside the tower leg at the 530 foot level, looking down.
